I use this cabinet in my cellar, which is a shame because it's too attractive for that, but it's great for keeping my wines over time.
I added another ten bottle wine rack to the top part and now have storage for 30 bottles.
Yes, it was tough to put together and it took some tricky maneuvering. Ladies, just figure you're going to blow an evening on this and then you won't be so frustrated. Take your time and it will work out. It's worth the trouble.
You do have to figure a couple things out for yourself, using your own common sense and powers of logic. But again, it's worth it and I HATE assembling things. I almost didn't buy it due to the assembly required and the notes here, but I'm glad I did.

The unit arrived with the box opened and several places damaged. Thankfully all the parts were there or I would have simply returned. To say it is difficult to assemble is an understatement. You need to be a contortionist in order to get the screws into the frame. After assembly it is impossible for the doors to close because of the hinges closing on themselves with no room to disappear. This unit is a real piece of junk.

The design needs work, as regular glasses slip out from the rails, and we already broke one. the overall construction is also flimsy. The whole cabinet is attractive, but on closer look its not very well made.

Very attractive and sturdy piece of furniture. The spaces on the glass racks need to be a little narrower so that glasses don't fall out.

This item was packed well and easy to put together. I was impressed by the completed look of this piece of furniture. Good use of space, holds a reasonable amount of bottles, nice glass doors and handles. There were two things I did not like about this piece. When the dividers that fit together to hold the bottles are put in place the measurements are off as the pieces that should rest on the bottom inside of the cabinet are not all the same size so the grid balances on one piece that is longer than the others. Additionally, when I slid my wine glasses into the holders located on the top inside of the cabinet, the holders are too far apart and if you don't balance the glasses just right they will slip out between the holders as the spaces are too wide. Based on those two important items I do not know if I would recommend it to a friend.
