While I'm attracted to the very minimal design and the price, I find it to be deceptively heavy. As well, I find it isn't so well fabricated on closer inspection.If one hangs this rack on a drywall, it will need extra extra reinforcement or proper screws and anchor bolts to secure it on the wall. When choosing the right hardware, one must take into account the corresponding weight of the rack plus the weight of the wine bottles.

    I absolutely love the design of the wall mounted wine rack. I ordered six for a wall space behind the couch set for my basement. Unfortunately, all of them arrived slightly bent. Only one was completely bent sideways enough that I couldn't use it. The metal used is very solid, so it was not bent from shipping but from whoever constructed the items. If you do order this, make sure you make a note to hayneedle to check to make sure they wine racks are not bent. They did replace it with no problems or hassle.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

      We mounted the wine rack at the end of our cabinets under the six inch countertop overhang. It was the perfect size because the bottles sit sideways. It makes, what would have been dead space, look really interesting.

        I bought this for a friend, and everyone who sees this absolutely loves it! She even added baskets to some of the racks to hold fruit and other things, so it's not just a wine rack...it's a multi-purpose rack. However, the one HUGE drawback is that it did not come with wall-mounting hardware. It took a while to find the right hardware to use. It definitely would have been unbelievably perfect if it had included the hardware.
