I purchased two of these red wine racks to use in the open space of a black sofa table. They fit perfectly and I love the contrast of black table and red wine racks. Just a little disappointed that they were not finished in a glossy red. Much of the wood grain is visible. But still looks nice.

Upon receipt of of wine rack, I opened it immediately for inspection. There were a couple of screws missing. However, I realized that they were detached and were in the packing box. Once I located them, they were pretty easy to screw in.
Needless to say, I wasn't too happy with that minor oversight. I think for the price, one could rest assured that the quality factor would be great.
Moreover, the stain of red on the rack doesn't even come close to the red pictured on the web site. Thus, if you are looking for something a bit more red, this shade certainly won't do it for you.
I would return it, however, I don't want to deal with the hassle of shipping it back. Most likely, it will end up being given away for Christmas.

I love the unusual design and color (Crimson) for the kitchen. I bought two and dissembled one to extend the height for 3 larger bottles of wine on top...making it 12 bottles for regular size wine and 3 slots for large bottles...not using 2 of the racks. Installed inside a cabinet. Works perfectly for our kitchen and everyone notices it!

The on-line ordering was easy and the product was deliverd quickly. The item is wood laminate and I noticed one corner of the top wood layer had peeled away from a tight fit in the cardboard box. It was not enough to go thru the return process, but enough to disappoint. Sometimes it happens this way.
