Some reviewers have criticized this wine rack however we found it to be perfect for our needs. It is not meant for a fancy, free standing center piece for a room. We wanted a racking system for a closet. We attached it to the wall for stability. The process was VERY quick and simple...and I am no handyman! We are so satisfied that we have ordered two more.

Perfect fit for the extra space in my wine cellar. The two racks give me much needed storage for an additional 80 bottles.
The height gives me overhead wall space for displaying artwork.

We are very happy with this wine rack. It's attractive, holds 40 bottles easily, and was priced fairly. The only assembly required is to attach it to the wall, which is necessary. I don't believe it would be stable enough if it was free-standing. The only complaint we had is that the anchors they sent to attach it to the wall were cheap--we used our own anchors. Other than that, it takes 4 screws (included) to attach it to the wall and you're ready to load it with wine!
